Formed in 1904 as the Knavesmire Golf Club, today Pike Hills Golf Club is home to a superb course set just off the A64 south-west of York. The 6,212-yard, par 71 parkland layout is defined by its tree-lined fairways around Askham Nature Reserve and its devilishly tricky greens.
