Mizuno has unveiled three new MP-20 Series iron models featuring copper-plating within the heads to add layers of feel at impact. The three new MP-20 iron models are Grain Flow Forged in Hiroshima, Japan and feature copper plating, first used in the brand’s legendary TN87 model, for enhanced feel at impact. The new family comprises MP-20 MB, MP-20 MMC and MP-20 HMB models, each with its own unique appeal and designed to stand alone or blend into custom combo sets. MP-20 MB is a pure muscleback while the MP-20 MMC is billed as an elite players’ cavity, representing the second-generation of Mizuno’s multi-material concept. The MP-20 HMB is a new hollow-headed hybrid muscle back design. Meanwhile, a blended set for left-handers, the MP-20 SEL package, has also been announced.
