Masters foundation

The Graham Wylie Foundation has been announced as the Official Charity Partner of the 2017 British Masters supported by Sky Sports, which takes place at Close House Sept 28-Oct 1.

Tournament host Lee Westwood (pictured above with Graham Wylie)has also become a patron of the Foundation – joining AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson. Various fundraisers will take place in the lead up to the event and during the tournament week, including the Hero Pro Am on Wednesday Sept 27, with ticket revenue donated to the Foundation.

“I’m immensely proud,” said Wylie, speaking of his charity’s involvement with the British Masters. “We love our sport in Newcastle, so to have the British Masters here is brilliant for the region and I can’t wait to see some of the best golfers in the world at Close House.”

Westwood, said: “I am extremely honoured to become a patron of the Foundation.”
