Blyth golfer wins Nairn Dunbar title again
Blyth Golf Club’s success in the Nairn Dunbar Five Day Open continued for a third time in four years as Phil Didsbury picked up the KM Cameron Salver after strokeplay at matchplay rounds in the low handicap section at the Scottish club.
Following in the footsteps of Blyth’s Keith Gordon and Rob Storey, Phil came through a nail-biting final against local favourite Dave Stewart to win at the 19th hole – his 91st hole of the competition.
