Penrith-based Tim Dykes added a second North East & North West PGA major title to his 2023 collection with victory in the Tour Championship at Brancepeth Castle.
Tim led the field of 39 professionals with a four under-par round of 66 as Morpeth’s David Clark finished second (67) and Longhirst Hall’s John Harrison was third (70).
With the win, Tim moved to third in the Mizuno Order of Merit. The next event in the season-long points race is the Heineken Dunstanburgh Classic on September 12.
