The North East/North West PGA circuit returned to action with its 2021 season opener at Alnmouth Golf Club, where Rockliffe Hall’s Simon Robinson led the field with a four under-par round of 67.
Tim Dykes finished in second place with a round of 68 in the Pro Series event as Wilhelm Marklew and Craig Smith shared third place a shot further back.
The second event of this season’s Pro Series will take place at Close House on April 27 before the pro ams return with the NE/NW PGA Championship ProAm at Dunstanburgh Castle on May 17.
