Close House managing director and top local PGA professional Jonathan Lupton has been added to the field for the British Masters.
The former Walker Cup player, who first played in the British Masters in 2002 at Woburn as an amateur, will join Lee Westwood and Sergio Garcia over his home course. He said: “I’m a very similar age to Sergio and played against him when we were coming through our national systems. He was sensational as a teenager and was near untouchable. To compete alongside him again is going to be a fantastic opportunity.”
