Hexham Golf Club’s ladies first team continued their success in the Northumberland Ladies County Golf Association Shield Matches – topping division one for the sixth time in seven years in 2023.
Led by captain Liz Donaldson, the first team topped division one with 34 points from their six matches – finishing 5.5 points ahead of City of Newcastle.
Meanwhile, Hexham’s third team – led by outgoing captain Janet Joyce – won the fifth division title and earned promotion for 2024.
