Durham dominated the Northern Federation Junior Championship at Eaglescliffe Golf Club.
George Washington Golf Club’s Duran Gun set the pace with the best first round of 70 as Durham posted a team score of 461. The team from Cumbria lay in second place on 473 with Northumberland third on 480.
Houghton-le-Spring Golf Club’s Daniel Ellison did the business in the second round with a best of 72 and Durham went on to post a team total 919, finishing 17 shots clear of Cumbria as Northumberland finished on 956.
Cumbria’s Dominic Baron won the individual title with his rounds of 72 and 71.
