Brancepeth Castle’s Richard Aisbitt produced a superb second-round 66 to win the 53rd Teesside Trophy.
Having opened with a round of 78 in windy conditions, Richard posted a six under-par second round to lead the field with a 36-hole total of 144 in the Yorkshire Order of Merit event. Meanwhile, Jack Brooks finished a shot back in second place as Tom Smith completed the top three.
