Callaway Mavrik family
Callaway Golf has introduced its new line of Mavrik drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons, which have been designed with the help of a new supercomputer.
The Mavrik drivers feature a new Flash Face architecture, which has been designed by artificial intelligence to deliver faster ball speeds when paired with Callaway’s Jailbreak Technology. Each of the three driver models has been designed to work with the individual specifications of each head – size, shape, CG location, footprint and internal weighting – to maximise distance. The complexity of the new face designs also demanded a new and stronger material – FS2S titanium – to allow the ultra-thin design to stand up to the stress of impact, maintaining fast ball speed without compromising clubface integrity.
The drivers also feature proven technologies – Jailbreak, which incorporates two internal bars that connect the sole and crown to promote faster ball speed, and the T2C triaxial carbon crown which makes the driver lighter and boosts forgiveness.
Meanwhile, three fairway wood models feature a unique version of the new Flash Face and new irons incorporate a Flash Face Cup designed by artificial intelligence to work with each individual head’s size, shape, CG location and loft designation to improve distance and control.
