The winning team from a corporate golf challenge held at Close House has put their success down to regular Speedflex training sessions.
The Speedflex team, including former world number one and Ryder Cup player Lee Westwood and Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer, are regular users of HIIT training regime Speedflex, which they have found invaluable in improving their general fitness and performance on the course.
Colin Wilson, who represented Speedflex in the final round of the competition, said: “Not only can I hit the ball further, my endurance levels have increased enabling me to spend more time on the golf course doing what I love most”.
Successful entrepreneur Graham Wylie, co-founder of The Sage Group plc, and now chairman of Speedflex (Europe) and owner of Close House, said: “We’re very excited that Speedflex members formed part of the winning team. It was a real achievement as the competition involved professional athletes and golfers competing on a very tough golf course.”
Speedflex has centres in London, Leeds, Newcastle, Reigate, Cork, Surrey, Southampton, Dubai and Dallas.
