BIG MAX shares what happens when testing in the rain isn’t enough

The team at BIG MAX has gone above and beyond to ensure their gear performs when it matters most.

While most golf bags are tested in the rain, BIG MAX didn’t stop there and put their bags to the test in Maltatal, Austria – also known as The Valley of Falling Waters.

You can watch the video on YouTube here.

To truly challenge the limits of their bags’ waterproof capabilities, over six hours the team navigated treacherous terrain and plunged through cascading waters. They faced immense water pressure, rugged friction, and wear and tear – all designed to simulate harsh conditions beyond typical golfing environments.

After all of that, there was no water damage. Despite being fully submerged in cold, powerful waterfalls, the AQUA IPX Tour and AQUA Dry bags dried completely, with no sign of internal damage. The advanced waterproof materials did exactly what they were designed to do – protect, no matter the conditions. There were also no scratches or signs of deterioration on the bags, with the new IPX material proving exceptionally resilient. The functionality of the bags also remained intact.
