Yorkshire’s men’s team maintained their undefeated start to the Northern Counties men’s league season with a 13.5-4.5 win over Cheshire.
Following a 3.5-2.5 win in the morning foursomes, Yorkshire dominated the singles matches at Sand Moor – winning 10 of the 12 ties to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Meanwhile, Durham picked up their second win of the season – beating Cumbria 11.5-6.5 at Bentham.
In the final tie of the weekend, Lancashire beat Northumberland 12-6 at Bolton Old Links.
The penultimate round of matches takes place August 16-17 with Yorkshire hosting Northumberland at Bradford, Durham facing Cheshire at Royal Liverpool, and Lancashire welcoming Cumbria to Fairhaven.
