Titleist unveils new Tour Soft golf balls for 2026

Redesigned from core to cover, the new Titleist Tour Soft golf ball is packed with advanced technologies that provide a combination of longer distance, increased stopping power, and very soft feel.

Featuring a proprietary cover formulation and new aerodynamics package, the 2026 Tour Soft (SRP £34 per dozen) improves tee to green performance while maintaining the model’s soft feel.

There is a new 386 quadrilateral dipyramid dimple pattern, engineered to deliever a more consistent ball flight to gain every possible yard off the tee. This is paired with a new core dimension and elastomer cover blend to reduce spin and maximise yardage in the long game. These advancements also increase peak height with mid-irons for a steeper angle of descent and more stopping power into the green.

To improve the Tour Soft, Titleist R&D focused on two primary requests from golfers – more distance off the tee and improved stopping power into the green. The team reformulated Tour Soft’s cover to be softer and thicker while slightly decreasing its core dimension to generate lower spin in the long game without sacrificing feel. This combination also produces higher launch on iron shots, helping players hold more greens through trajectory.

One of the most significant changes was unlocked through aerodynamics, with this model debuting a new 386 quadrilateral dipyramid dimple pattern. The design, which was in development for more than four years, has been created to deliver a more consistent ball flight and longer distance.
