Pike Hills-based Will Adamson took home the York Union of Golf Clubs’ Open Championship trophy after topping the leaderboard at Sandburn Hall.
Will prevailed by a single shot in a three-hole playoff with Easingwold-based Tom Pyman after both players shot three under-par rounds of 70 and finished two shots clear of the field after 18 holes.
