TaylorMade introduces P·770 and P·7CB irons

TaylorMade has announced the latest additions to its P·Series range of irons – P·770 and P·7CB.

Tour feedback and analysis has led to the creation of compact, clean profiles in both the P·770 and P·7CB (RRP £179 per iron). While both have the profile of a players’ iron with a thin top line and smaller blade, P·7CB is significantly thinner and more compact.

In the P·770 irons, a modified leading edge encourages consistent shot shaping and clean turf interaction. Meanwhile, the sole camber and progressive bounce profile of each P·7CB iron ensures consistent turf interaction throughout the bag.

Both sets of irons also incorporate precision milled faces and grooves that promote consistent launch and spin.

TaylorMade’s FLTD CG is a prominent component in the P·770 irons – positioning the centre of gravity lower in the long irons and progressively higher in the short irons. An updated tungsten weight and slightly wider sole ensure consistent flight in the short and mid irons, while making the long irons easier to launch and more forgiving.

P·7CB irons have a constant centre of gravity which ensures shots leave the club in a predictable window.
