TaylorMade introduces Hi-Toe 4 wedges

TaylorMade has unveiled the latest addition to its wedge line-up – Hi-Toe 4. Built on the success of previous Hi-Toe wedges, Hi-Toe 4 combines proven technologies with several new performance features.

The latest Hi-Toe wedges (RRP £149) feature the larger face and full-face grooves seen previously along with new Spin Tread RAW face technology – which promotes increased friction and spin and displaces moisture in wet conditions.

There is also a new array of grinds offering more versatility – from low-bounce designs that offer more forgiveness out of bunkers to wider sole designs that offer more versatility from a variety of lies.

Meanwhile, the toe mass pad is more visually pronounced in Hi-Toe 4 wedges compared to Hi-Toe 3.

Throughout the range, the bottom groove is gold, contrasting with the copper finish and making it easier to centre the ball at address. There is also less offset than previous Hi-Toe wedges, and a more pronounced leading-edge radius make it easier for golfers to hit soft landing shots with an open face.

Like TaylorMade’s Milled Grind 4 wedges, Hi-Toe 4 wedges also have an elevated centre of gravity to promote low launch conditions and maximum spin.
