Simon Robinson topped the leaderboard in the North East & North West PGA’s pro am at Carlisle Golf Club, which was sponsored by Lloyd Motor Group.
Simon led the field with a four under-par score as Morpeth-based David Clark and Consett & District-based Mark Ridley finished in a tie for second place on three under-par.
Meanwhile, in the team event, amateurs Geoff Maxwell, Andrew Miller and David Kirkpatrick teamed up with PGA professional Stuart Rafferty to lead the way with a 15 under-par total of 87 points.
