Rothbury Golf Club’s men’s team lifted the Davison Cup for the first time since 1999 following victory in the event’s final at Tyneside Golf Club.
The five-player Rothbury team beat Ponteland 3.5-1.5 to lift the trophy in the annual knockout event – which brings together the clubs from the Hadrian League and the North Northumberland Golf League.
