Brancepeth Castle-based Richard Aisbitt topped the leaderboard in the Bishop Auckland Bowl for a record-breaking seventh time.
Richard led the field in the 40th playing of the 36-hole event with rounds of 71 and 70 as Bishop’s Jamie Birkbeck finished one shot back in second place.
Richard set a new record for wins in the event as he lifted the trophy for the seventh time – 33 years after his first win in 1992.
