Twenty injured veterans joined business teams from across the country at the 10th annual event in aid of the On Course Foundation at Skipton Golf Club.
The event raised more than £33,000 for the charity – bringing the total raised in the last 10 years to more than £250,000. Teams were hosted by On Course Foundation veterans to tackle the new and updated holes at Skipton.
As part of the event, former servicemen Mark Scorah spoke about how the charity has helped him rehabilitate mentally and physically. He also talked about other injured OCF members who were present, including Gregg Stevenson from Foulridge, who is a double amputee.
The evening auction, hosted by event organiser David Rasche, contributed £17,000 to this year’s total and included prizes from The Royal Household Golf Club at Windsor Castle, Lytham St Annes and Royal Blackheath as well as the chance to dine at The Ugly Butterfly at Carbis Bay.
