Tyneside-based Phil Waugh topped the leaderboard in the North East & North West PGA’s Brancepeth Castle pro am.
Phil led the way with a four under-par total as two players – Graeme Bell and George Cowan – finished two shots back in a tie for second place.
Meanwhile, in the team event, amateurs Bob Breeze, Kobe Hall and Dean Watson teamed up with PGA professional David Clark to top the leaderboard with an 18 under-par score of 90 points.
