Tyneside’s Phil Waugh and Morpeth’s David Clark shared top spot in the North East & North West PGA’s Bellingham pro am.
Phil and David shot three under-par scores of 67 as they led the field. Tim Dykes finished one shot back in third place while three players – Mark Ridley, Vince Guest and Ian Colquhuon – were a shot further back in a tie for fourth place.
In the team event – amateurs Steve Redpath, Steve Welsh and Tim Gorman teamed up with David for an 18 under-par score of 122 points and a one-shot victory.
