Odyssey rolls out new Ai-ONE Square 2 Square Max putters

Odyssey has expanded its Ai-ONE Square 2 Square putter range with the launch of the new Square Max 1 and Max Stripe models.

The Square 2 Square putters feature a centre-shafted design that means the putter stays squarer throughout the stroke. This design centres the shaft on the centre of gravity plane of the putter – resulting in putters that rest with the toe up in a reverse torque position – rather than the traditional toe hang position. A forward shaft lean of 3.3° presets the hands in a forward press position, eliminating the opening of the face that often happens when players forward press.

The new models (RRP £369) are Odyssey’s most stable yet, with a moment of inertia reading of more than 6,300.

The Max 1 design features a thin white sight line in the middle of the crown, while the Max Stripe features Versa 90 alignment technology.

Designed using artificial intelligence, the contours on the aluminium backer of the face insert have been co-moulded to a White Hot urethane surface to promote consistent ball speeds across the face.
