In a repeat of last season’s final, Morpeth Golf Club’s junior team successfully defended the Northumberland Junior Golf League trophy with an incredibly narrow victory over Longhirst Hall’s team in the event’s final.
Having finished first and second in Group B with five wins each, the two teams won their morning semi-finals against Hexham and Gosforth to setup a repeat of the 2024 final. In an incredibly close final – once again hosted by Longhirst Hall – Morpeth lifted the trophy on holes up after the two teams finished tied 6-6.
