Seaton Carew-based Michael Skelton took home the winner’s cheque at the North East & North West PGA Rockliffe Hall pro am.
Michael led the field with a four under-par score of 40 points as seven players – Aaron Cox, David Clark, Alex Dixon, Tim Dykes, James Maw, Darren Pearce and Mark Ridley – finished in a tie for second place with 39 points.
In the team event – amateurs Stewart Carr, Mike Hannan and Matt Kirby teamed up with Rockliffe’s head of golf, Tom West, to lead the way with an 18 under-par score of 90 points.
