Matty Cornish led the field at his home club as he won the Hollinside Trophy at Whickham.
Matty topped the leaderboard in the Durham Order of Merit event with a two under-par round of 69 – beating Hartlepool’s Lloyd Bond by one shot as Whickham-based Bryan Levey finished third.
