Consett & District’s Mark Ridley led the field in the Tom Flowers Memorial Pro Am at Ramside Hall – as the North East & North West PGA came together to remember former secretary Tom and raise money for St Cuthbert’s Hospice.
In the individual standings, Mark topped the leaderboard with a two under-par score of 38 points as three players – George Cowan, Alex Wrigley and Jonathan Graham – finished in a tie for second place two shots back.
In the team event, Darren Pearce led his fourball – including amateurs Rennie Wood, Mike Neville and George Wearmouth – to victory with a 10 under-par score of 82 points.
The event raised more than £2,710 for St Cuthbert’s Hospice, with clubs and professionals from around the region donating prizes.
