Consett-based Mark Ridley produced one of the highlights of the season as he won the North East & North West PGA pro am at The Northumberland.
Having finished in a tie for top spot with Michael Skelton after both players shot four under-par rounds, Mark sealed victory in a two-hole playoff in emphatic style. Having birdied the first, Mark holed out from the 18th fairway for an eagle two – crashing into the flag and finding the bottom of the hole to take home the £3,000 winner’s cheque.
