Mark Marshall wins the One-Arm World Championship at Cleveland

Mark Marshall won the One-Arm World Championship at Cleveland Golf Club following a week of high-quality golf on the Teesside links.

Nottinghamshire-based Mark beat Cian Arthurs on the second extra hole of a thrilling final – after Cian birdied and won the 17th and 18th holes to send the match to extra holes.

Following two days of strokeplay qualifying featuring players from around the world, the leading four players competed in the matchplay rounds on the final day. In the first semi-final, Mark beat Cleveland-based Darren Grey as Cian setup his appearance in the final with victory over Matthew Gamble.

Meanwhile, Blackwell Grange’s Steven Hutchinson won the nett championship trophy – winning his semi-final match 1up before clinching the title with a 3&2 win in the final.
