TaylorMade has unveiled 2017 editions of its M1 and M2 families of woods and irons as Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods join Jason Day and Dustin Johnson among the long list of players with the woods in their bags.
The new woods combine advancements in materials and geometry, with a lower density titanium in the M1 and 43% more carbon composite aiding weight distribution and forgiveness – plus more manoeuvrability thanks to increased weight in the sole’s track weights.
The M2 driver promises more forgiveness and explosive distance thanks to the same tweaks to its materials and geometry, while the M1 and M2 irons complete the new look and deliver better distance, height, forgiveness and feel that their predecessors. Available in the New Year.
