Bishop Auckland-based Jess Hall picked up the best finish of the professional career to-date as she finished second in the Islantilla Open on the LET Access Series.
Jess shot a three-round total of two under-par (70-71-73) as Mexico’s Fernanda Lira dominated the event and secured her first European victory with an eight under-par total.
With the result, Jess moved to 11th on the LETAS Order of Merit. The top seven on the order of merit at the end of the season earn Ladies European Tour cards for 2026. She also earned a spot in the LET’s La Sella Open, which takes place September 18-21.
“I’m so excited,” said Jess. “I didn’t realise there were invitations available so it’s a surprise. It’s unbelievable. I’ve never got an LET start before and it’s something I’ve always wanted.”
