PGA professional Kevin Jackson has joined Sharpley Golf Club following a successful 20 years with Ramside Hall.
Kevin, a PGA professional since 1995 and an accomplished player on the local PGA circuit as well as a respected coach, is aiming to grow his Kevin Jackson Golf School at Sharpley, with a particular focus on developing juniors.
“It’s been a real whirlwind making the move to Sharpley,” said Kevin. “I’d been part of Ramside for 20 years – training there, working in management and then as a full-time coach, and I have so many fantastic memories there. The opportunity to move to Sharpley was a great one and I’m excited to get started.”
A big focus of Kevin’s work will be on developing juniors from beginners into established golfers. He is already working with some 70 golfers on a weekly basis through his work at Ramside, Wearside Golf Club and with Durham Sixth Form College.
He added: “I’ve got a great passion for developing golfers. I’m really looking forward to growing what I’ve been doing and seeing juniors develop into club members and good golfers at clubs across Co Durham.”
