Morpeth-based David Clark enjoyed a winning end to this year’s North East & North West PGA Titleist Order of Merit season as he lifted the association’s Matchplay Championship trophy at Slaley Hall.
The annual event brings together the leading 16 players in the points race over two days in Northumberland – and David secured the title with a 4&3 win over Alex Buchanan (Slaley Hall) in the event’s final, as George Cowan and Michael Skelton reached the semi-finals.
