Hull Golf Club’s team of Jacob Hodgson, Ben Rozenbroek and George Clark topped the leaderboard in the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs’ Fifth Division Championship at Cottingham Parks.
The Hull team combined for a 36-hole, three-player total of 28 over-par as Bradford’s team finished second, six shots back. Jacob meanwhile topped the induvial standings with his four over-par total, with Ben in second place on five over-par.
The leading seven teams – Hull, Bradford, Easingwold, Howley Hall, Beverley & East Riding, Filey and Silkstone – will progress to the Fourth Division Championship at Bondhay on June 11, where they will join the 14 teams already qualified for the event from last season.
