Heworth Golf Club’s Jimmy Batt, Matthew Lord and Callum Robertson won the Yorkshire Sixth Division Team Championship at Knaresborough.
Jimmy (74), Matthew (77) and Callum (80) combined for a four-shot win over Easingwold’s team – and will progress to the Fifth Division Team Championship at Cottingham Park on May 21. They’ll be joined there by the other six qualifiers from the event at Knaresborough and the 14 clubs already in the field for the 36-hole three-player team tournament.
