Fulford’s Helen Barugh had a birdie-birdie finish to win the York Union of Golf Clubs’ Ladies Championship by four shots from York’s Lisa Emberson at Heworth.
Helen shot a three over-par round of 75 to win by four as Emily Attwood (Sandburn Hall) retained the silver division title with a nett score of 68. In the bronze division, Michelle Burch (Heworth) shot a nett score of 63 to take home the title.
