Harrison Sewell wins the Golfweek Fall Challenge

Harrison Sewell got his Georgia Southern college career off to a winning start as he led the field in the Golfweek Fall Challenge at True Blue Club in South Carolina.

Harrison, who transferred to Georgia Southern following a national junior college title-winning season at Midland College, led the field in his first NCAA event with rounds of 68, 66 and 68. He birdied two of the final five holes, including the 17th, to shoot 68 on the final day and claim the individual title.

The Georgia Southern men’s team – which also featured Hexham’s Morgan Blythe, who transferred from Miami of Ohio this season and finished T4 with rounds of 68, 69 and 69 – also led wire-to-wire to take home the team trophy with a 12 under-par total.
