Woodsome Hall member Graham Cox has added to his remarkable winning record at his home club.
Graham led the field in the Annual Medal competition – an event which started in 1959 and brings together the winners of each division in each monthly medal throughout the year – this season.
Members at Woodsome are used to seeing Graham’s name on the boards and his Medal win was his 38th Gold Leaf victory. Graham was featured in the club’s centenary book as the winner of the most men’s gold leaf competitions in the club’s history. His first win came in 1983 and he is now eight wins ahead of second-placed Seamus McMahon, who notched 30 wins from 1959-1999.
