England’s girls’ team – featuring Longhirst Hall’s Charlotte Naughton – finished fifth at the Toyota Junior Golf World Cup at Chukyo Golf Club in Japan.
The team of Charlotte, Lauren Crump and Matilde Santilli shot a four-round total of eight under-par (best two scores from three) as Thailand won the girls’ event with a 24 under-par total.
Meanwhile, England’s team of Harry Cox, Sam Marshall and Jack Swift finished sixth in the boys’ event – which was won by Japan.
