Emma Brown will represent Yorkshire in the Senior Women’s County Champion of Champions following her victory in the Yorkshire Senior Ladies Golf Association Championship at Wakefield.
Malton & Norton-based Emma – who won the national title in 2022, 2023 and 2024 – came through 18 holes of strokeplay and four rounds of matchplay to defend the trophy – beating Richmond’s Karen Jobling 6&4 in the final.
Meanwhile, Selby’s Lynn Wass won the Barrett Trophy with a leading gross score of 73 in the strokeplay qualifying round. The Elliot Trophy, for the leading nett score, was won by Oakdale’s Andrea Johnson with a score of 66.
