Durham boys’ and girls’ champions crowned

The best boys and girls from across Durham competed alongside one another at Roseberry Grange – as county champions and winners across several age categories were crowned.

Staged concurrently, the 36-hole Girls’ Championship was won by Wearside’s Millie Hixon, while Wearside-based Evan Oliver was crowned boys’ county champion.

Meanwhile, Alex Gordon (Wearside) won the boys’ U16 title, Harry Sheen (Wearside) won the boys’ U14 title, and Romilly Crabtree (Ramside) was crowned girls’ 18-hole champion.

In the nett events, trophies were won by South Moor’s Jake Lewis (boys’ U18), Eaglescliffe’s Harry Maloney (boys’ U16), Ravensworth’s Ben Weatherson (boys’ U14), and Eaglescliffe’s Sorcha Bond (girls’ 36-hole).
