Morpeth’s David Clark ended the 2025 golfing year with victory in the North East & North West PGA’s Christmas Pro Am at Dunstanburgh Castle.
David – the association’s 2025 Titleist Order of Merit winner – led the field with a score of 36 points as The Northumberland’s John Harrison finished two points back in second place. Three players – Chris McDonnell, Paul Fiddes and George Cowan – finished a shot further back in a tie for third place
The team event saw professional Jack McCall lead amateurs Matthew Cragg and Michael McCarthy to victory with a six under-par score of 78 points.
