Michael Hay and Mia Eales-Smith led the men’s and women’s fields respectively in the 2020protour’s first event of the new season at Selby Golf Club.
Michael posted a six under-par score of 42 points in the pro am event to win by three points as tour co-founder Chris Hanson finished second, and Nick McCarthy and Sonny Lewis finished one shot further back in a tie for third place.
Meanwhile, Mia led the women’s field with a level-par score of 36 points as Abbi Rowlands finished second.
Michael and his amateur partner, Greg Wilson, also topped the team results with a score of 43 points.
Next up on the 2020protour schedule is the pro am at Worksop Golf Club on Monday February 23.
