Darlington-based PGA Tour player Callum Tarren has announced a new global partnership with Husqvarna, the pioneer of smart mowing and robotic technology.
Callum will take on the role of brand ambassador for Husqvarna – which has its UK headquarters in Darlington – helping to reach golf fans and raise awareness of the importance of quality turf care on and off the course.
The brand ambassadorship will run for 12 months and see Husqvarna support Callum at upcoming events, as well as working closely with him to help reach a new audience of passionate golf fans.
“I am very happy to be partnering with Husqvarna as an ambassador,” said Callum. “There is a clear crossover between myself and what the brand stands for, so this partnership felt like a no-brainer, especially as I head into an exciting time in my professional golfing career.
“As a golfer, I spend a significant amount of time per week at the golf course and require the highest standard of lawn quality on the fairway for practicing and competing, and it’s Husqvarna mowers that make this possible. Husqvarna robotics in the professional segment allow greenkeepers at golf courses around the world to prepare courses for everyone from pros to amateurs to the highest standard, while their advanced solutions such as ride-on mowers, walk-behind mowers, leaf blowers and chainsaws all go hand in hand with all aspects of golf course maintenance.
“I have multiple residential Husqvarna products in my own garden including an Automower 415X, as well as a 120iB battery leaf blower and PW350 pressure washer, so it’s really reassuring to know that I can maintain the same level of premium quality lawn and garden care at home that I expect from my professional golf courses.
