Wearside-based Paul Ward topped the leaderboard in the Scratch Open at Consett & District Golf Club, while Bishop Auckland-based Jamie Birkbeck won the Leonard Crawley Medal at Brancepeth Castle.
Paul led the field in the 18-hole Durham Order of Merit event at Consett with a three under-par 68 as John Kennedy finished one shot back in second place, and Adam Mottershead (71) finished third.
Meanwhile, Jamie topped the leaderboard at Brancepeth Castle with rounds of 67 and 65 giving him an eight under-par total and a three-shot win over Adam Rochester, as Jack Richardson finished two shots further back in third place.
