Northumberland county champion Ben Brown got his college golf career off to a fast start as he won the Central Wyoming College Fall ’25 event at Riverton Country Club.
Eastern Wyoming College freshman Ben, who won his first Northumberland County Championship this summer at Arcot Hall, led the field with two rounds of 71 for a two under-par total and a two-shot win over teammate Troy Young.
Backworth and Bedlingtonshire member Ben, who finished eighth in his first event in the US, also led the EWC Lancers to victory in the team event at Riverton as they combined for a 12 over-par total and 35-shot victory.
