Northumberland county captain Andrew Minnikin led the field in the Durham City Golf Club Scratch Open.
City of Newcastle-based Andrew shot a five under-par round of 66 to lead the field by four shots as Richard Mason (Durham City) and Aaron Scott (Heworth) shot rounds of 70.
