Andrew Scrimshaw has set his sights on a big finish to the season in a bid to qualify for next season’s Challenge Tour.
Close House-based Andrew finished in a tie for third place in the Cervino Open on the Alps Tour with rounds of 65, 65 and 64 to earn €2,340.
The finish was his third top 10 on the tour this season. He also has a second place finish at the Katameya Dunes Open
Following the event, Andrew is in 13th place in the order of merit with one event to play – the Alps Tour Grand Final at Terre del Console.
The top five in the order of merit at the end of the season qualify for the Challenge Tour in 2020.
“I was delighted to grind out a tied third finish in the Cervino Open,” said Andrew. “It moved me up the rankings and keeps me in the hunt for a Challenge Tour card with the Grand Final remaining.”
